The Royal Project Foundation operates in accordance with the royal initiatives bestowed by Bhumibol Adulyadej, with the following objectives:

  1. To assist hill tribe communities on humanitarian grounds.
  2. To support the Thai people by reducing the destruction of natural resources, particularly forests and watershed areas.
  3. To eliminate opium cultivation.
  4. To conserve soil and ensure appropriate land use, maintaining forest areas as forests while using suitable land for agriculture, without allowing these areas to encroach upon one another.

The New Light CDC 

The Community Development Center or the New Light CDC is a project under the jurisdiction of “The New Light Foundation” which is a non-profit, non-government, non-religious foundation registered with the Thai government. The center is here for the overall development of the community. It operates a feeding center which provide free meals (Mon-Fri) for the children of poor families. We operate a full day school to allow the underprivileged children in the area an access to education.
