Universal Foundation for Persons with Disabilities focuses on career training across the country to enable disabled persons to be self reliant and enhancing the capability of disabled persons which also improves the Thai perception to be that the disabled persons are not a burden to society.

Universal Foundation for Persons with Disabilities founded by Prof. Wiriya Namsiripunpong who is also the chairman of The Christian Care Foundation for the Blind in Thailand under the Royal Patronage of H.M.the King Rama 9. The Universal Foundation for Persons with Disabilities registered number is 0460 as a Public Benefit Organization and was elevated to a Public Charitable Organization on February 14, 2007. Donations to the foundation is entitled to tax deductibility.
